The history:
This ABARTH 850 TC Corsa is an original racing car as delivered to private customers by ABARTH & Cie - Torino. First owner: Ricchiardo Ricci from Pisa. License plate: PI 100801. The car has a unique racing history: Ricchiardo Ricci won the Italian Touring Car Championship, Group II up to 850 ccm, with this vehicle in 1967. In 1968 in Italy the vehicle took 2nd place in the same class with the driver Edoardo Gatti from Pisa. In 1969 the racing car came to Germany and was used by Karl-Heinz Scholl from Verlautenheide and Dieter Schulz from Berlin. Almost 100 races are documented. Dieter Schulz drove particularly successfully in the years 1972 - 1975 for the ABARTH CORSE Berlin. The team was sponsored by Poddig-Antenten Berlin. There are numerous contemporary reports about this racing car in Italian and German car newspapers. In the course of its history, the car has undergone changes to the body in accordance with homologation regulations. Today it is in the condition in which it was last used by Dieter Schulz in 1975.
